🌿 Summer at Dewey
Our Preschool Summer Camp offers children extended time outdoors to play, explore, and wonder. Rooted in Dewey’s nature-based, child-centered philosophy, our summer days follow a familiar school-year rhythm—with more freedom for play, creativity, and discovery.
This program is designed specifically for our current Dewey families and provides continuity, comfort, and joyful summer connection.
What Campers Experience
🎨 Art Experiences: Painting, clay, and nature-inspired crafts
🍃 Nature Exploration: Sensory play, outdoor discovery, and observing plants and animals
🪵 Hands-On Learning: Building, experimenting, and engaging with natural materials
🌳 Child-Led Play: Encouraging curiosity, independence, and social skills through guided play
🌿 Weekly Themes
Week 1 – Forest Friends
Explore the forest, meet woodland creatures (through storytelling and play), and create animal-inspired art.
Week 2 – Water Wonders
Splash, explore, and discover the wonders of ponds, streams, and safe water play.
Week 3 – Nature Artists
Craft with leaves, sticks, and natural pigments to make art inspired by the outdoors.
Week 4 – Outdoor Explorers
Collect treasures, go on sensory walks, and engage in hands-on discovery activities.

Camp Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, Full-day enrollment only
Minimum Enrollment: 2 days per week
Ages: 3 – 4 years old
Location: The Dewey School
Focus: Nature-based, play-based, child-led learning
Tuition: $270 per week, $54 per day
